Summer!

It's been a slow couple of weeks, which is understandable as it's summer and all.
However, we are not dead or anything like that.

As most already know, we are no longer a part of the wotr organization. I'll just copypaste what Admirable told the TF2 Gossip guys:

Joining wotr was one of the best moves we made since we started playing TF2 about 8 months ago.

We have gained a certain level of notoriety and prestige from the wotr organisation but we feel it is time to move on.
Of course we are grateful for all the support and love we have received from Xman, nos et al, however, the focus has always been on TCM.
We are a team pushing hard to improve and to represent our beautiful game at a high level; so we are putting ourselves in the shop window so to speak.
Whilst many people will say we are crazy for leaving wotr, we feel it is time for a change and want to shake things up. In fairness there is really not much to lose or gain either way as we have been mostly self sufficient since the beginning.
So we have decided to strike out on our own and see what happens!
We are, of course, open to all offers from interested MGOs but we aren’t holding our breath just yet…

This means we will be known as coolclan, at least for a while.

EMS
Tonight we will face off clan 00 in an EMS groupstage game. Our last encounter with them ended in a win for us, hopefully we'll be able to repeat that and not get farmed! We will be using DrJustice as a merc due to deith being in the caribbeans for this week.

VS
28.5 21:15 CET
RESULT: Badlands 4-1, Granary 5-3
WIN

ETF2L
As already stated, deith is on a holiday and cube is still banned from the league, we will have a rather tight schedule with getting the season done with. Here's a list of the games and their dates:

week1: Team Dignitas 15.6
week2: Level up(dropped) -
week3: FakkelBrigade 31.5
week4: Crack Clan 16.6
week5: clan 00 TBA
week6: 4Kings 10.6
week7: Team Coolermaster 11.6
week8: The Imperial 18.6
week9: Team YoYoTech After TCL

The Escapist tournament
We will also take part in the Escapist TF2 Tournament. The games will be played on Chicago servers so we're already at a massive disadvantage, also the rules of this tournament are a bit different from what we're used to, for example, the games are 5v5.
BUT, the massive prize whores we are, we decided to sign up anyway. Assuming our opponents are not that good(although I heard the former Team Pandemic signed up) we should have a pretty good shot at some razer goodies.

LAN Team
Seppo added to the lineup.

News!

A lot of stuff has been been boiling behind the scenes, and here's a small update - more to come!

The LAN Team
With financial problems and other issues we will not wield a full team for the community lan happening in july – instead, we will have a mix team based on our roster.
The last spot is reserved for a capable demoman, we will see what we can do to get deith to Holland.

The players:
Admirable (soldier)
Albert (medic, wotr)
cube (soldier)
perry (scout, clan 00)
Pizza (scout)

cube's ban
His ban from the ETF2L will not be removed, so it's a bit of a rough season start for us. One game already had to be postponed because of it, but I'm sure we will get all the nine games played, lineup and dates are yet to be seen. The ban lasts roughly for half the season, ending the 10th of june.

Medic
In the past two weeks we have gotten tons of applications concerning the free medic spot in our teams, several people which we also trialed.
I can honestly say it was a tough decision between a few good medics, but treigzak stood out the most with his division 1 experience and some slick moves.

As it has been done in the esports scene since the dawn of days, our active lineup as of now:

Admirable (soldier/medic.ire)
Altbstfrth (soldier.uk)
cube (soldier.pl)
deith (demoman.pl)
Pizza (scout.fi)
treigzak (medic.no)
wltrs (scout.se)
+ emergency reserve, Mr Life alias sherpa

A quick interview to go with these joyful news with our newly recruited mysterious norwegian:
växjö: Hello, who are and what do you do?
Mr T: i am robot, i play game
växjö: you have been around for a while now, more than most of our team. What were your past clans and your role in them?
Mr T: processing query.... First team recorded in database is known as fracture. Second team found in database is known as Übersexuals, who later changed name to TMGamers. error - minor stay at animate gaming team has been deleted, please contact service maintanance. Primary objective: Killing
växjö: you are better known as a capable scout, why the switch to medic?
Mr T: cause im shit
växjö: this will do, thanks!

we got ourselves a shit. Nice!

Cadred ranking
April's TF2 top 10 rankings were published some time ago and to be honest, after our spot in the march list, I can comfortably say that this time it actually feels like we deserve to be on the list.

After the unfortunate demise of Team Coolermaster, we should go up at least one spot for may's listing, possibly more depending on how the few teams above us score in the upcoming weeks.

Results since the last blog update:

EnemyDown: idk? - Gravelpit 1-1, Well 3-3 DRAW
EnemyDown: The Imperial – Granary 4-4, Well 2-2 DRAW
EnemyDown: wotr – Gravelpit 2-0, Badlands 4-3 WIN
EnemyDown: Crack Clan – Gravelpit 1-1, Freight 0-8 LOSS

As you can see, the last few weeks have been a bit dry gamewise, although our pcw schedule has been normal. Unfortunately The Wireplay premier division withered and died so we won't have any more games there. Also, there's only one game left in the EnemyDown league, our opponent being Dignitas.

Somewhere on IRC...
Pizza: I'd like to interview you for our blog tho!

treigzak: arrg

Patriarch no more

As the title says, we have lost our medic. Pat joined our ranks out of nowhere and played with us very actively for about 5 months. He's not actually dead as the tombstone above suggests, only quit TF2 and I got a hold of him for an interview:

växjö: so in a nutshell, why did you quit?
pat: i dont really enjoy medic/tf2 much
pat: i still dont 'get' basic shit after 300hr so im probably not going to 'get' it
pat: i dont have the desire to work on fixing my problems so better i leave now. and you can get a better medic, who can become a 2nd caller
växjö: what are you going to do now?
pat: I'm doing some casual raiding with very old friends in WoW
växjö: what do you think wotr² should look for in a new medic?
pat: I think you should find someone who has excellent medding skills, makes very few mistakes, and wants to develop as a secondary caller in-game
växjö: mr obvious
pat: what else is there
pat: someone insanely active
växjö: anything else?
pat: No
växjö: give me some mean shoutouts
pat: shoutout to cube for all the hard work he does on tactics. shoutout to wltrs for carrying our asses in every game. shoutout to Alty for his neverending battle with cube.

This means we are on a lookout for a new medic, the etf2l recruitment thread can be found here.
If we fail at finding a new medic, we've got a secret plan up our sleeve that will make everything OK once again.

Results since the last blog update:

UKeSA Season 1: Envision - Well 4-1, Turbine 8-3 WIN
UKeSA Season 1: YoYoTech - Gpit 0-2, Freight 4-3, Turbine 3-8 LOSS
ESL Season 2: Game Control - Granary 5-1, Freight 2-2 WIN
Wireplay Season 3: wotr - Fastlane 2-2, Turbine 4-8 LOSS
Wireplay Season 3: Gallia - Badlands 4-2, Granary 8-1 WIN
UKeSA Open cup: YoYoTech² - Gpit 1-1, Freight 1-2 LOSS
UKeSA Open cup: Envision - Fastlane 8-0, Turbine 8-5 WIN
EnemyDown: Trademark Gamers - Freight 0-3, Badlands 0-7 LOSS
EnemyDown: YoYoTech - Granary 2-8, Gravelpit 2-0 DRAW
EMS Season 4 Qualifiers: idk? - Badlands 4-4, Badlands(GC) 1-0 WIN
EMS Season 4 Qualifiers: Die Doppelnullen - Badlands 5-3 WIN

The UKeSA Open cup was a huge failure on our part, kudos to YoYo² for playing well though.
The ETF2l season 5 has started and I believe our goal this time is to finish 5th, 6th or so and not become the punching bags of division 1. Season 5 start will be interesting for us as we need a new medic and cube being banned leaves us with only 5 players.

MASSIVE

ETF2L

As pat posted earlier, we won the division 2A quite convincingly winning all the teams but one which we should have won really. WP to veAre, though. They just simply outplayed us on turbine.
The div2 championship means that we'll be in division 1 next season battling with the best.
Season 5 is said to begin november/december 2009, an estimated date which I honestly thought to be an april's fool but guess not.
At first our main goal was to win division 3, but as we got surprisingly moved up to division 2 after the disbanding of hb0da, we just wanted to finish mid-high in the more challenging division. Eventually we got better and just wanted to win the whole shit and that's what happened really.

UKeSA Championship season 1

Went quite well finishing with a record of 7 wins and 0 losses/ties in the group stages, although it wasn't very hard as delirium folded alongside with nwave that might have been a possible threat. Next on we'll be facing tougher teams such as Vale! and it's a farm(Die Doppelnullen) in the playoffs.

UKeSA Open Cup season 1

Just played our first game against it's a farm(Die Doppelnullen)
Badlands was extremely tight with mostly us ruling the game for 25 minutes and having a 2-0 lead, but doppelnullen getting their shit together and coming back to the game ending the map in a 2-2 tie.
Granary was the same story really, but this time the game was 0-0 for the first 25 minutes and doppelnullen getting a round in the last 5.
Good game but the outcome was incredibly frustrating for us.

Wireplay

A new season just started and so far we have played one game which was against Zee, a team consisting of the best frenchies + Acidrenix.
Was quite a good game overall. We started a bit slow losing badlands 3-4 but came back strong and took the win on granary, 5-2.
The next game will be against wotr, perhaps we'll finally pin them down!

ESL

Tied a few games we should not have. Can't really complain about not being in the highest division with such results. Still have a few games left but they shouldn't be a problem.

Enemy Down season 5

New season about to start, the premier division is looking pretty good with a few top teams missing but then again a few new able teams entering the competition.

Cadred March top10

Interestingly we made it to the Cadred top 10 listing of march with our awful performance.
Generally march was just awful for us in every way but we have been doing better again lately and looking to keep our position in the april listing, or even gaining a rank or two.

Pat's blog

Patriarch started publishing some TF2 related stuff in a blog format. So far the blog has been a huge success with people praising it for the witty writing and daring opinions.
The blog can be viewed at http://archtapir.blogspot.com/

LAN

Hopefully we'll be able to wield a team for the community lan(thecommunitylan.com) that will be held in july.
So far we have three confirmed attendees, myself, Admirable and cube. The others are a bit so and so with Altbst and pat being definite no's.

Vallone

Recently added vallone to our roster. He will act as our number one backup player, the ultimate merc who will step up in the times of need.

Massivity

Thought this to be the blog post of the century but in the end it seems a bit lame and boring.
http://koti.welho.com/tuohavo/officials.xls has been updated.

Champions of ETF2L (kinda)

So we finished first in our division @ ETF2L:

Overall a decent season. We achieved our goal of automatic promotion and played fairly well, although losing on Turbine (to a very determined vR) in our last game was a shame. Our other 'booboos' were two drawn maps against dmg and FB who came joint 2nd and will need a pre-playoff playoff to decide who makes the playoffs. Only 7 of 10 teams in our division finished the season and one of those will be/is folded now, but we enjoyed all our games in season 4 nonetheless. Now we have a long and painful season 5 lined up, after a summer break.

In other news, wltrs is 'back' after a short emo vacation. No-one knows what he was doing or why but he likes TF2 again (yay) and he wants us all to play more. Deith has a new PC and seems slightly happier (according to Pizza) - though he doesn't say much so we dont know for sure.

Finally, there's a new TF2-related blog. It won't be gossip or news, but more thoughts on the game, the clans and the noob players. Oh and it's written by me. Check it out HERE

Peace out.

World of Wotrcraft

After a long discussion this morning, me and Patrick decided to leave TF2 behind us and move on to a game with more content and faster gameplay.

Statement from Patrick "pat" McClane:
Me and Pizza have grown tired of the clan and we are moving back our first love, WoW. BB GL and see you in Azeroth!

WE JUST AINT THE SAME WITHOUT ROBBE

Naturally coming from me, this story is horse shit. I did play WoW for 38 minutes though :<

I don't know where wltrs is, hope he's ok!!! =(
PS: sjurb, I fixed your picture!

sjurb's corner

So Pizza asked me to contribute to the blog despite me not having anything to talk about.

There is the very real possibility that reading this unstructured post of random thoughts may bore you to tears but Boss Pizza tells me he expects this done by the time he comes back from the pizzeria (a pizza shop or Pizza's house?)

Let's jump into real life first. Monday-Friday wake up at 7am shower-shave-shit then it's off to the hospital for a day's work to pay the bills. Currently working as a Biomedical Scientist in the NHS. My deprtment is Microbiology/Virology so any of the superbug stuff you read in the papers (MRSA, C. diff, Noro Virus) is the stuff I mess with. From testicle skin scrapings to faecal examinations- if your body can make it I can work with it. For all the whining I do about it it's actually a pretty good job. It can be immensly satisfying when you follow a patient's sample through from collection to results but you do need a tough skin- it can be pretty depressing looking at some of the patient details- 5 year olds with leukaemia, 30-something women with breast cancer, geriatrics who likely won't be alive by the time you finish with their sample... MEDIC!

I don't get back home until 6pm which I guess is the reason my TF2 activity has been pretty poor for a long while. With alty and cube being really active and reliable and Ads being online most evenings it's neigh-on impossible to get a good run in the team. When it was at its worst in February as I was really keen to play but couldn't, I think it's fair to say I threw my toys out the pram- "LET ME PLAY YOU'RE ALL SHIT". Since then I've realised how unfair it is to ask to take the place of someone who plays more than me so like a respectable ninja I've dropped back into the shadows. It's been 3 weeks now since I've played with wotr2 but I'm still up for playing. I think being a backup is the best I can hope for given my (in)activity and inability to say which nights I'll be here. At work we've recently arranged to play football on Monday nights and I'm usually at my girlfriend's on a Tuesday and Thursday which makes Wednesday and Friday the only weeknights I'm around.

In those 3 weeks I've hopping across different games. Me and phoenix/penix/Josh from NS days play a fair bit of Dawn of War 2. It's an RTS game light on strategy which makes it easy for us to hop on for a couple of games. Also bought Unreal Tournament 3 after the free weekend. The netcode is shockingly bad but it looks jaw-droppingly beautiful. Also had a game of NS with frG's adopted Spanish team. Funnily enough playing DoW2 has given me a better scope of what's needed to command well, despite having played NS since release day. Still- the game is dead so I don't think I'll be going back to it. Oh, and got in touch SpaceJesus/esJ. Pretty out of the blue but he's into EVE online these days. I've been persuaded to give it a go using the Steam trial- a recent update has changed the start for new players so I'll see how it goes. Finally, I'll get back into Quake Live since it went public. All these games should keep me interested when I'm home alone and bored!

Interesting final note- it seems Cube was harshly banned in the ETF2L for a forum post. It wasn't that bad- admins must have been on their period or something but as the thread on the sandman made the head admin quit heads were bound to roll. With his 3 months ban this will free up a soldier slot that I could compete for. Unfortunately (for me) the only team left to play in that league is veAre.black. The game shold be a walkover regardless of who we field which is unforunate for me!

sherpa out.

Olaf is out for blood

cube let his dark intentions take over and posted from his heart regarding sandman limit 1 in the ETF2L:

Lame jokes aside, I see a reason why something like that would be punished but I find a 3 month ban rather harsh for something so minor. It affects our team greatly if cube doesn't get to play in the first few games of the upcoming season when we start in the first division.

Quote from an admin:
"well you gave us no other option, most wanted a 1 year ban for this. hopefully 3 months are enough to learn from it"
Makes me wonder what sort of people they have in the admin crew. A one year ban would probably kill us as a team.

VA FAN

League updates, oh boy!

UKeSA Week 3
10.3 :: vs Oh My God It Is WON

One of the better division 3* teams. Shouldn't pose much of a threat, although we're a bit shaky on both well and turbine.

* = division 3 as in ETF2L division 3

ETF2L Week 8 xx.x :: vs Nwave DEFAULT

Ahh, the lovely chaps of Nwave again. Last week they made cube hate cp_well even more and this time we get to play them on gravelpit! It's a bit more important this week as it's ETF2L and we want to have a clear no maps lost-record. After Nwave there's only one game to go, it being against veAre, a german team that is currently 6th in the division.

UPDATE 10.3: Apparently their team folded once again and unless they come up with a new team, it will be a default win for us. I wouldn't be surprised to see a new nwave team soon.

ESL Season 3 Week 1
12.3 :: vs eLD TIED

ESL starting again and after the disappointment of last season, we actually got placed into a proper division this time. eLD getting a shot at us again this week after their loss last sunday in the ETF2L. Our win on badlands was quite solid(7-1) but managed to win granary only 4-3. Arguably they missed their most influental players.

Wireplay season coming to an end

The season is now over for us. It was a bit weird as we had such good results vs the top teams yet managed to only tie some of the middle tier teams.
Personally I'd say that the games vs TCM and Druidz were the most fun, intense games we've ever had so the season itself left a good aftertaste even if it was the league we performed the worst(resultwise) in.
The Druidz game actually became a win for us as DRz folded.
Some teams still have games to be played so I'll post our final standing in the tables at a later time.
Full results list in xls format can still be found here

We are currently discussing(yeah right) if we should play in TheSGL or not as we might want to keep our focus on other, more familiar leagues with better teams.
Already signed up for the next season of Wireplay, which should be good assuming the skill level of the premier teams will stay about the same. Did a bit of scouting while writing this and to be honest, it looks a bit grim for Wireplay concerning whether the top teams will sign up or not..

The Rumour Corner

Schedules and stuff

Haven't updated the blog in a few weeks as nothing interesting has happened really.

UKeSA Season 1 4.3 :: vs uP Gaming WON

Our second game in the UKeSA. Won the first one against miBty quite comfortably and this one should be a pleasant stroll for us. Feel free to prove me wrong.

Wireplay Season 2 4.3 :: vs Dignitas LOST

Well they're the best, we'll do OUR best I hope!

EnemyDown xx.x :: vs weapons of the rebellion, not ColorZ!

High stakes in this one, a whopping FIFTY POUNDS(or actually, is it euros?). The last game of EnemyDown for us, we're playing ColorZ who won the division below us. Again, should be easy for us as we didn't lose a single map in the 7 group games we played. Date not set yet.

Apparently we're playing weapons of the rebellion instead!

ETF2L Season 4 week 6 8.3 :: vs elD WON

The season is nearing its completion and we have only 3 games to go, this being one of them. My bet is on us.

Wireplay Season 2 5.3 :: vs Nwave TIED

Wireplay also getting to an end soon, we should finish fourth which isn't too bad. Lost against wotr quite tightly, tied 1-1 in fastlane after leading the map for 28ish minutes and after that lost gravelpit which was a bit of a mess.
But again, Nwave shouldn't be much of a problem. After that we're playing Dignitas.

Other than those games, we've got some internal shit to deal with if we want to actually compete in division 1 in the future and win the first season of UKeSA.

ESL Season starting soon and we're playing in division 2B which is a bit of a sigh. At least we're not in division 3.

I'm not going to regularly update stuff about the bball/scout/instagib fun cups, will make a bigger update about each as they get finished.

We didn't make it to the Cadred top10 Clans list of february but honestly, we should be in there instead of a few teams(1, really). Hope a nay-sayer reads this and starts drama or something. Just do it.
Then again, the ranking mechanics work against us.

Interesting tidbit of information: We have WON 26 games, LOST 8 and TIED 4 games. (Officials, defaults excluded)

God Hand is an awesome game and anyone who owns a PS2/PS3 should get it. Or get a console just to play it.

A rather overconfident blog post this time! wltrs stepped down as a writer and Steven hasn't kept his promises of making an entry :(

UKeSA and stuff

So yeah, we nailed a spot in the UKeSA championship division which wasn't too surprising.
I suppose our main focus will now be on winning the championship title and claiming the 1000£ prize pot so we can get some ice cream and all that good stuff. I think we've got a pretty good chance to be first and I'm 100% confident we'll end up in top 3! If not, I got a grapefruit waiting for me.

Our group looks like this:

Main resistance quite definitely coming from delirium.. possibly northwave but didn't they like fold last week or something? Hope they get their shit together.

NEXT UP:

ETF2L Season 4 week 5 22.2 :: vs dmg WON

Will the russians put an end to our magnificent 3 win streak, are the days of terror over?! hope not! Our biggest game in the ETF2L this season and should be a good one. A quick look at their current roster reveals that they've found some quality scouts to join them.

EnemyDown 23.2 :: vs Hampshire Heavies WON

If the russians fail, will these chaps put us down? Highly doubt it but better be careful. Currently on a 6 win streak in the EnemyDown league.

UKeSA Season 1 25.2 :: vs miBty WON

The date might not hold, it's the default UKeSA date. Don't see a reason why we wouldn't play, though. Actually lost a pcw 0-1 to these guys so better be EXTRA careful. In the end I see us winning this one anyway.

Wireplay Season 2 1.3 :: vs weapons of the rebellion LOST

As wltrs mentioned earlier, still not scheduled. It'll get played though.
UPDATE: scheduled.

Russel Crowe is a handsome man

Played three officials after the last update:

EnemyDown :: vs Troopers 8-0, 8-1 WIN
ETF2L :: vs Fakkel Brigade 6-3, 4-4 WIN
Wireplay :: vs plan-B 4-1, 1-0 WIN

And gladly won all of them.
Interestingly we played the plan-B game with a merc demoman, deith, as we parted ways with numlocked due to different reasons!
Now that Seb is gone, it also means that I'm back in charge, all hail King Pizza! Actually we sort of shared stuff so that I handle ETF2L and PUBLIC RELATIONS, Steven handles Wireplay/ED/ESL, wltrs wants to arrange pcw's and I made cube to do the recruiting because I hate that shit?!

In other news, we got in our first conflict with vTroopers but it's settled now and the story is pretty boring!

Admirable wants to contribute to the blog.
Anton turns 8 years old, happy birthday, buddy!

ihatethinkingofgoodtitles

Guess it's my turn now, this is a booooring match update but I want to keep Robbe happy.

RESULTS

First of all, wltrs forgot to mention that our Doppelnullen match was covered by pwnage.tv. At a quick glance I couldn't find the archived stream but I'll see to it, maybe I could rip it off the site and host it somewhere..

EnemyDown :: WIN vs Mafia

Not much about this one really, we had a solid game and beat them 4-0(fastlane) and 8-2(turbine)

Wireplay :: DRAW vs Team CoolerMaster

We, the underdogs, pulled out a draw that not a lot of people would have expected. This game was actually played straight after the game against Mafia and we got to play fastlane again winning it 3-2 this time. Cp_well could have gone either way really, if I remember correctly, we even had a 3-1 lead at some point but the final score was 3-4 for TCM.

ETF2L :: WIN vs DCSB

To be honest, I think most of us(including me) thought that this match would be a pleasant stroll for us with all the rumoured and observated roster problems DCSB has had lately. It ended up being a really tight 2-1, 5-4 victory for us. Good game which was shadowed a bit by rage/lag from our side but hey, we won.

Here's a quote from Mole, taken from the ETF2L match comments:

Can’t believe how close this was and you got so lucky! haha. Shame for us this game wasn’t later in the season with only just getting a lineup sorted then one dropping out last minute. But it still proved to be a great game, I really enjoyed it. wotr2 made no mistake in taking advantage of every little mistake we made and we were punished for it and we know where to improve on. Well played though.

NEXT UP

Wireplay Season 2 21.1 :: vs Team Druidz

We always seem to do bad against DRz in pcw's, but those are pcw's and I think we can match them pretty well judging from their/our recent results etc.

THESGL Supernova Series 22.1 :: vs Crack Clan

Ah, get to be the underdogs against one of the top3 Euro teams. Who knows, maybe we'll cause a major upset :) Crack! is always a fun clan to play against.

ETF2L Season 4 24.1 :: vs Clones Inc.

Should be no problem but hey, not a bad team so better be prepared. Interestingly we're playing dustbowl, cube claims to have incredible dinosaurs in hornets-tactics for it and promises us free 3 points!

Got a shitload of officials coming up, glad to have the year finally started!

Leagues and shit

Will be an interesting start for the year with all these officials in different leagues coming up.. except everyone is a bit bitter when we got placed into division 3 in the ETFL2 after getting our hopes up when we heard we might get to play in division 2.
At least the promotion/relegation-system works which is nice, but I just wonder how some of the new teams got ranked higher than us, suppose there's more than meets the eye.

What cube has to say about all this. Just to spice up the blog a bit.

Gladly we got a spot in the premier division in the upcoming season 2 of Wireplay TF2. Would be pretty boring to play in the lower divisions though.

Sadly our place in EnemyDown season 4 is also in division 3.

Also, I heard we'd play TODAY the fifth of january in an ETF2L invite cup with teams such as Die Doppelnullen, KomaCrew, Druidz, TCM and 4K but that's all I've heard really, I would ask numlocked but he's away doing something!?

Oh, and numlocked released a frag movie, I'll post the link here although I can't imagine anyone getting it after reading about it from here. Because no one really reads this blog, that is.

sherpa said he lacks motivation because we keep playing no-name teams and will probably be inactive.
biomass hasn't played in a while now, but is still lurking in IRC so maybe his holiday was a big hoax!
Mike has pretty much stopped playing TF2 for now and is focusing on L4D competitive gaming, personally I can't imagine how you can play the versus mode(I assume they play versus?) with such enthusiasm but hey, could be worse.

So as far as I know, our main lineup will be:
Admirable (soldier)
Altbstfrth (soldier)
cube (soldier)
kevorkian (scout)
numlocked (demoman)
pat (medic)
wltrs (scout)

That will leave us with "only" 7 players, in an ideal situation that would be all we need but to truly get the pcw's rolling we might need one more depending on what sherpa decides and what Admirable will do about his studies.

PS: editing this blog is a claustrophobic experience.
